In 1992, Successful Resumes founder John Little identified a need to support jobseekers create resumes that professionally analysed, articulated and marketed their strengths, skills and achievements. Through his experience developing and managing a successful advertising agency, John found that resumes were often treated as a simple typing exercise. Most resumes he saw contained boring lists of historical information that completely lacked a marketing focus and consequently were ineffective at selling the applicant. Using his extensive business knowledge, experience employing and managing people, and creative marketing expertise, he set to change the way resumes were written.

After significant growth within Australia, Successful Resumes opened its first international office in London in 2007. Since then, the organisation has grown to include a network of offices, writers and career consultants in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, UK and USA

Suzanne has built a career on creating opportunities for people to succeed. As a leader in Australia’s disability employment sector, Suzanne has been awarded an AM in the Australia Day Honours list, inducted into Disability Employment Australia’s Hall of Fame, and was included in the AFR/Westpac 2013 100 Women of Influence. Suzanne is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
